It’s no surprise that the summer months provide a great opportunity for wineries. People are taking more time for themselves to leisure and travel and so it’s a great time to enjoy the extra foot traffic and meet new customers for your winery. Therefore, it’s easy to focus on getting your tasting room set up to capture new leads and improve the overall customer experience in your winery. However, if you’re not picking up the phone too, you’re leaving one of the biggest advantages to the summer months completely untapped.

Why you need to be calling over the summer!

During the summer months, there’s a good chance that your customers are drinking more wine. Naturally, your customers up North will likely be taking advantage of the warmer weather and firing up the barbecue right after they’ve poured themselves a glass of your wine. So start calling your customers and get them stocked up for the summer months.  

The reality is that summer time is a huge time of year for consuming wine.
